Flooded Lead Acid Battery

FLA batteries are also known as wet cell batteries. They are made up of lead plates that are immersed in a liquid electrolyte solution of acid and water, and divided by separators. You need to keep an eye on the electrolyte level and fill it with distilled water occasionally.

The Club Car Onward electric (flooded lead acid) includes the standard FLA battery, has an aircraft quality aluminum frame, high quality seats, and LED headlights and running lamps.

High Performance Battery

High performance golf carts are designed to provide better acceleration, hill climbing power, and torque than other models. This is done is through a powerful motor and a higher voltage battery. Keep in mind that the type of terrain you drive on can affect the performance of the golf cart.

Cost- It is cheaper to purchase a used golf car than a new one, as they have been previously owned and there is a little bit of wear and tear on them, although we do clean them up to make them a great used vehicle!

Customization options- While used cars may not be able to use all the accessories a new one can, they often have more flexibility when it comes to color options, lights, lift kits, and more as there are many places/people that you can purchase these items from.

Length of Ownership- If you only need a golf car for a short period of time, such as at a summer house, a used car is a great choice as they can carry out their purpose for a lower price tag, and then easily be sold or traded in later on.

Cart Information- If you are someone who likes to do a lot of research before purchasing something, there is often more information on used cars; whether that’s by word of mouth, blog posts, and of course by asking a golf cart company such as 91����.

Cons of a Used Golf Car

Cost- You know the saying, “you get what you pay for?”, that is true. Used golf cars have been previously owned, and while we do our best to fix them up, sometimes issues occur that may only happen with a used golf car.

Warranty- Warranties for used cars aren’t as frequent/full coverage as our new cars. Not all of our used cars have a warranty, but if they do, it’s a 60 or 90-day warranty and it covers much less than a new golf car.
